Codenames is one of the hottest games of the last year. Winner of the Spiel des’Jahres, the Origins Game of the Year, and countless other awards, it’s on a bit of a roll, so we figured we’d dig in and make some recommendations for other games you might like if you happen to love this one.

We have a nice burst of new games to talk about this month including Anthony’s surprising endorsement of Mansions of Madness Second Edition, and not so surprising desire to try out Great Western Trail. Chris is eager to get the new Small World into his hands with River World as well as Epic PvP: Magic, and Daniel is waiting for Tiny Epic Western to reach his doorstep, along with Machi Koro, which he just snagged on deep discount.

The guys have a boatload of games to talk about with reviews of The Great Dinosaur Rush, Francis Drake, Mercs Recon: Assassination Protocol, Munchkin Loot Letter, The Usual Suspects, Salem, Pandemic: The Cure, and Worlds in Peril.
