Table for One Episode 4 – Board Game Apps

Welcome back everyone! After a bit of a delay, Episode 4 of Table for One is here and I have three exciting games to talk about, plus some thoughts on board game apps as a whole.

First on tap is recent play throughs, including the long awaited Star Trek: Frontiers which has been sitting on my table for a while waiting for a play through. Is it worth tracking down if you already own or have thoroughly played Mage Knight? Next up I discuss Mansions of Madness Second Edition, almost certainly not for the first time, and finally I dig into a clever little card game in The Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction.

Last but not least, I take a look at some of my favorite board game apps, some recent plays, and some of the issues that can disappoint or ruin a solo experience in an app. Plus the situations in which board game apps make the most sense and the ones in which they really don’t. Find out which games I’ve been playing lately on my tablet and phone, and sound off in the comments about any games you’ve been interested in checking out or have on your own devices.

Make sure to connect with Table for One on BoardGameGeek (Guild 1735), Facebook, and Twitter (@BGAPodcast). And I welcome and appreciate your reviews on iTunes!
