Pandemic Legacy, designed by Matt Leacock and Rob Daviau, is one of the most hotly anticipated board games in recent memory and has been kept tightly under wraps for months. Since it’s announcement, few if any outside of the Z-Man and F2Z camps have seen the game let alone any of its components or board.

So today is a pretty great day as F2Z, the parent company of Z-Man Games (along with Pretzel Games and Plaid Hat Games) has released the Launch Trailer for Pandemic Legacy. You can watch the trailer below, just launched this morning by the company.

This is our first look at the game too, but as avid fans of the Pandemic brand and line of games and gamers hungry for more legacy-style games, this has been on our radar for a long time. It’s been on at least three separate acquisition disorder corner segments (from different hosts) and will almost certainly be hitting our table this fall when it hits the store shelves after Essen.

We’ll almost certainly talk about the game again on the next episode of the podcast and we’ll be playing and reviewing it later this fall when it hits our tables, but until then, let us know what you think. Are you as psyched for new Pandemic (in legacy format) as we are? Are you eager to see other legacy games hit the shelves down the line?

Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the new game and its upcoming season 1 launch.
