Anthony and Chris are joined by two very special friends and good friends from our time on Staten Island – Dave and Chris – to discuss the biggest regrets we’ve had in gaming purchases or plays in our gaming lives. There are some surprises, some disappointments, and a bunch of wishes that things could be changed. We’re also talking about three games we got to the table during a Euro-tastic game day on Memorial Day – listen to hear how each game went.

    At the Table

We had a nice big gaming day this last week, with a whopping four meaty euros hitting the table. The crew will discuss three of those games and our take on each of them – hint, we had a blast playing all three of these, but there are some in-print issues to worry about as we work our way through the lot.

To start, Terra Mystica hits the table with five players for the first time in more than a year – despite one rule hiccup, we had a ton of fun playing through this one yet again. Now to decide if it deserves the #2 spot on BGG…Next up is Stefan Feld’s classic out of print game, The Speicherstadt. Dave has created addicts out of all us with this one – a game that unfortunately is nearly impossible to find. Finally, we talk about Medici – the classic Knizia bidding game that takes almost no time but was HIGHLY addictive.

    Feature: Our Greatest Gaming Regrets

To round things out this week, we take a look at some of our biggest gaming regrets, both at the cash register and at the table. Learn which games we wish we hadn’t bought (or invested in), which games we wish we’d never played and which we wish we’d played sooner. There are a few good ones in here, a couple of surprises, and a handful that just didn’t click for any of us. Check it out.
