On this week’s episode, Anthony, Chris, and Daniel are back with a big new episode discussing the best games to play if you LOVE Pandemic. These are the games that pull from similar mechanics to the all time favorite co-op virus curing game by Matt Leacock. Along with this you’ll get a full run through of some other recent games we got to the table, including Star Trek Catan and the Phantom Society, along with a fair number of Acquisition Disorders for convention season.

    Acquisition Disorder Corner

There are a lot of games rounding the curve of convention season and plenty more prepping to go up on Kickstarter that you will want to check out (or that we want to buy at least). Chris has one of the biggest Acquisition Disorders of all this week though (one he already bought) as he discusses the Small World Designer Edition.

    At the Table

At the table this week, Anthony sits down to play Star Trek Catan with his wife and once again wonders which resources correlate to the sheep and stone. Chris talks about his own recent play through of Phantom Society and games similar to it in Iello’s recent spate of lighter fare. Listen in to determine if either of these are must plays for you and your gaming group.

Feature: If You Like Pandemic, Try…

Our biggest feature is back and this week we’re talking about Pandemic. If you like Pandemic and all things cooperative, listen to hear 9 games you should also consider playing, including games in the cooperative category, set collection, and asymmetrical player powers. We also have a special bonus 10th game that you should absolutely be playing if you like Pandemic. Prepare to expand your gaming repertoire with this week’s roundup of top next step games for one of the most iconic co-ops of the current gaming generation.
