Episode 52 – 15 Predictions for 2015

In the first new episode of 2015, Chris and Drew sit down and discuss their predictions for the new year, along with a handful of new acquisition disorders and five games they were able to get to the table lately. This is going to be an amazing year for the hobby – find out what we think will happen and how it will affect your gaming habits.

Shout it from the Tabletop

Drew has a handful of interesting new stories to share, including a questionable Cards Against Humanity promotion (aren’t they all), the presence of board gaming in popular media, gaming in schools, and Google’s take on board games.

Acquisition Disorder Corner

This week, Chris and Drew discuss two of the hottest and most anticipated games of 2015 – Roll for the Galaxy and Spyfall. Learn more about both games and why they can’t hit our tables fast enough.

At the Table

The guys get five games to the table this week, with a whole lot of exclamation points among them. Learn more about Ka-Ching!, Times Up!, Title Recall!, and Lost Cities to determine if any of them are the right fit for your gaming group. You will also learn about Game of Thrones 2nd Edition – the game everyone scared us into thinking would be too brutal – does it live up to the anti-hype or is it the brilliant Americlash game so many say it is.

5.   A Woman will be Nominated for a Major Board Gaming Award
4.   A reprint for El Grande will be announced!
3.   Game Stores will be replaced with Game Cafes
2.   Scythe will be the biggest original game on Kickstarter
1.   Too unbelievable to be mentioned here!?
