Episode 68 – Top Ten Co Op Games

This week, the BGA crew comes together to discuss the best and most interesting co-operative board games in the industry. We’ve gathered a list of the top 10 co op games as well as some of the games we’ve been able to get to the table lately, the recently announced Origins game awards nominees and much more.

Shout it from the Tabletop

Drew’s out this week, so the guys stay on level ground and discuss the upcoming Origins game awards, including some very interesting (and questionable) nominations for their big board game categories. Learn what we think and what games we’ve picked to win.

Acquisition Disorder Corner

Anthony and Chris share a couple games they are eager to see hit the table in the months to come. Anthony’s eye is on a recently announced new edition of Mission: Red Planet from Fantasy Flight Games, Bruno Cathala, and Bruno Faidutti. Chris is looking at the Titans Series Kickstarter campaign from Calliope games.

At the Table

Three games hit the table this week and they were all interesting. Chris discusses Abyss, the beautifully illustrated card game from Asmodee, as well as Lanterns: The Harvest Festival – a game he backed on Kickstarter a few months ago. Anthony discusses another Kickstarter project he backed some time ago, Fidelitas.
