Acquisition Disorder Corner

GenCon is over and Essen is coming up fast, which means more games on our Acquisition Disorder list than ever before. Listen to three games the guys can’t wait to see, including German Railroads, the first expansion for Russian Railroads, CVliziations, and the extremely attractive Premium Edition of Doomtown Reloaded.

At the Table

The summer gaming fest continues as the guys get even more stuff to the table. This week listen to Anthony’s take on Creative Clash, a first time game from The Infantree, Chris discusses the team’s first plays of the Voyages of Marco Polo – a sprawling new dice placement Euro that melds a bunch of mechanics together beautifully, and Nevermore – the new card game from Curt Covert and Smirk and Dagger Games, and a very attractive take on the classic Poe poem.

Feature: If You Like Munchkin, Try…

This week we’re taking a look at 9 games that capture some of the theme, mechanics, and feel of Munchkin, a game that has been infuriating family members and entertaining new gamers for fifteen years this year. Learn which games Anthony likes that bring heavy theme into the mix, the take that! games Chris recommends as the next steps, and Daniel’s favorite humorous board games and RPGs in this week’s feature.

Final Round: Where in the World is…Drew?

In our final round, we try to figure out where in the world Drew is (and it’s not Maine!) Join us as we discuss all the many places Drew might be found in the wide world of gaming.
