The 2017 ENGN Solo (and co-op) Awards Nominations List

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the first annual Every Night is Game Night Solo awards! Anthony and I would like to look back and reward the best in solo gaming over the past year. Also, because so many of the games on this list are cooperative, we figured we’d throw a little love that way, as well.

We are going to finalize our nominees and make a final determination for awards sometimes in January. Some very key games will come out at the end of the year (i.e., Charterstone, Gaia Project, Fallout, and more), so we want to hold off until we play as many of them as possible.

In the meantime, it’s Christmas season! What’s more useful to a gamer than a giant list of games to buy for themselves and their loved ones? With that in mind, I’d like to present the entire pool of potential nominees for each award category. From these games, we will pick official nominees and, eventually, winners.

If you have any opinions as to which games you would like to see nominated and/ or get the nod, let us know! Or if you think we’re missing a game, you can let us know that, as well. Any and all comments are welcome.

Without further ado, here are the games of 2017!

  • I'm a psychotherapist by trade, practicing in CT. I play games to restore my life balance. I like thematic games with lots of narrative and story, usually cooperative but I love good thematic strategy games as well. As a game evangelist, I also like card games and anything else I can easily tote with me.
