Episode 169 – Top 10 Themes in Board Games

Thank you to Christian for joining us on Patreon! Welcome to the BGA-Team!

On this week’s episode, Anthony and Chris are delving into the top 10 themes in board games – where do your favorites rank, and which didn’t make the list at all (you know there are a couple).

For our question of the week, we asked the listeners what their most anticipated game of the summer was – hear some of the big games coming out shortly, as well as a couple of our most anticipated.

For our acquisition disorders, Anthony discusses the newest from Rio Grande releasing at Origins, Epoch: Early Inventors, and Chris discusses Martin Wallace’s Lincoln from ACW on Kickstarter now.

At the table this week, Anthony had a chance to play and review Iki, and Chris gets out a classic in Walnut Grove.

Finally we delve into the top 10 themes in board games with examples of some of our favorites for each.
